About Us

The UNIVERSA MEDICINA is a medical journal , which began publication in 1982 as “Majalah Ilmiah Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Trisakti”. In 1999, the journal changed its name into : Jurnal Kedokteran Trisakti”and in 2001, as is now Universa Medicina. To reach more authors and more readers worldwide, the journals are currently digitized besides hard copies and can be accessed at http://univmed.org. While this is in progress you may find gaps in the range of available issues/volumes.

The UNIVERSA MEDICINA is published four times in a year (January-March, April-June, July-September, October-December). The journal papers present original/research articles as well as review papers, case reports and other scientific medical articles.

The UNIVERSA MEDICINA accepts scientific articles submitted by professionals who work in the field of health and medicine in order to assist them to distribute their research results and to share current medical information with those in the profession.

The quality of Universa Medicina is guaranteed by a consistent policy of peer review. The guidelines for authors are based on the guidelines published by the International Committee of Medical Journals Editors.

The UNIVERSA MEDICINA is the official publication of the Faculty of Medicine Trisakti University, Jakarta.
